Our Secret Only
Through nature’s spirit you and I stroll.
The shadow waning and waxing.
Lonely moon.
Filling the air with quiet melodies,
Life itself is alive.
Shade covers light,
Yet, a tendril of life still blooms,
Continuous and effervescent.
A sanctuary for the lost.
Wild wind, changing course, pulling and pushing
To drown out our voices that claw at the edges of the wasteland.
The moonlight, dull but reaching out
Letting us wander in harmony.
Tonight is our secret only.
